Dug and Stuff
A hole is gradually excavated in a log that has been split into four pieces. The hole is then stuffed with clay until it squirts out of the top. The log is then opened up, the clay removed and then the hole is made slightly bigger. The process is repeated, with the hole becoming bigger and bigger until the mould can be enlarged no further. The resulting vessels are hybrid objects. They have both a quality of clay and wood.
